The NGG is the professional organisation for scholars within the Study of Religion working at Dutch universities. Scholars of religion, PhD students, and ResMa students within the discipline can become members of the NGG. Membership benefits include privileged access to information and networks, as well as discounts at annual conferences and other activities. Members of the NGG are automatically members of the European Association for the Study of Religions (EASR) and the International Association for the History of Religion (IAHR), which provides additional benefits and conference discounts, etc.
Currently, annual membership fees are
- 40.00 EUR for full members and
- 25.00 EUR for students (including doctoral students), jobseekers and pensioners.
This fee also covers membership dues in EASR and IAHR.
The annual membership fee should be transferred to the bank account of the NGG:

Setting up a recurring transfer (periodieke overboeking) is very much appreciated; this ensures a timely payment. We prefer to receive the annual membership fee each January.
