The call for papers has been released for the 2017 NGG lustrum conference, which will take place on 19-20 October 2017 and is hosted at the Unversity of Utrecht.

The postdoc (3 years) and the two PhD positions (4 years) are embedded in the research project “The senses of Islam: A cultural history of perception in the Muslim world” (SENSIS), funded by a Consolidator Grant of the European Research Council and led by Prof. Dr. Christian Lange, Dpt. of Philosophy and Religious Studies, University of Utrecht.
From the 19th - 21st May 2017 the 40th Implicit Religion conference will take place at Sarum College. The theme is 'Materiality and Immateriality' and the Edward Bailey Lecture will be delivered by Professor Brent Plate (Hamilton College, New York).
